Jhan Moskowitz on Jewish theology

Here’s a very interesting video that talks about some of the theological differences between Christianity and Judaism that have arisen over the last 2,000 years. Judaism, over that time, has changed considerably since the destruction of the temple in 70AD:

  1. Quite interesting. I definitely agree with it. Judaism of the past 2,000 years developed in reaction to the dominant and often hostile Christianity of Europe. I see two trends in Orthodox Judaism in this regard:

    1. Orthodox Judaism has rejected some Jewish concepts simply because those concepts are now identified with the Christian Church.

    2. Jewish mysticism seeks to replace many unique elements of Christianity with its own version of it. Much of it is suprisingly similar to Christianity.
